Peter Alexander is an Emmy Award-winning journalist. He currently serves as a national correspondent for NBC News. He is also the co-anchor of NBC’s morning program, Today alongside Kristen Welker and Dylan Dreyer.

Alexander was born on July 29, 1976, in Oakland, California, to Terry Pink and David Alexander. His father, David, worked as an attorney. He has two twin siblings: Kevin Alexander and Rebecca Alexander.

Peter’s younger sister, Rebecca, is a psychotherapist and author. She was diagnosed with Usher Syndrome type III in late childhood. From his father’s other marriage, Peter has a half-sister, Lauren.
