In 1996, the veteran on-air personality joined KABC as a weekend meteorologist in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Maria also hoasted Eye on L.A., a California lifestyle show.

Furthermore, Fenero also worked for Fox News as a host of a 7-9 a.m. morning news show, Good Day New York. She joined the network in 1998.

Genero currently works for WGRZ. She is a weather forecaster of Daybreak on the weekends. She also co-hosts The Healthy Zone on Channel 2.
