The famous comedian was born on April 23, 1956, to his parents in Valhalla, New York, United States. The comedian never spoke up about his parents, siblings, and family.

Meaney died on October 21, 2016, at the age of 60. He was found unresponsive in his own home. 

He died of cardiac arrest in his home, as per the hospital reports. His former wife also confirmed the news of his passing.
